anyone playing this or gonna play it?
Jetalee is playing it some, he wants me to check it out so I may pick it up. I hear its good for an hour or two of diversion.

Character creation is badass. Best thing I've seen. Possibly even more fun than playing the game  but I haven't had a chance to play it for more than a few hours. So the jury is still out on that aspect. Some cool ideas though.
was curious to see if anyone is diggin' it.

Why are you playing city of heros instead of worshipping the ground your fiance walks on?? Slacker!!!

heheh, good point...but I think we are passed the "ground worshiping" stage...now it's more like.."Put the friggin toilet seat down!!"

Spent most of the night playing (even when i shouldn't have been, quite busy) and it has some potential. Not sure when I'll get sick of it, but its looking pretty decent at this point.

Like Qwalar said, character creation is fun.
To me however, the rest of the game just got old after an hour or two. Beat up thugs... beat up some more thugs, beat up higher level thugs. *shrug*
This was a while ago however, so maybe some things were added. But in my eyes the game doesn't look like it'd be interesting for more than a day or two, at best.

I was thinking of giving this one a shot. I need something to kill time until World of Warcraft goes into open beta.
I tried Planetside for a month and it was fun, but got old when I didn't have friends online.

It's ok, at least you have a genuine excuse for board leveling.

I picked this up at the urgeances of a few friends at work. It's actually distracted me from WoW, so I guess that says something. Not sure on long-term potential, tho.
Character creation and just seeing what other people come up with has been the most fun. I have only seen 4 mob types so far. thugs, undead thugs in the sewers, tactical armor wearing thugs, some alien race (non-thug).
Playing on victory I think.

A friend of ours tried to install it on my computer.
My computer says no. I want to at least try the game once my comp is upgraded enough to play it.

I'm giving it a shot, my name is "Sludge" and I'm on the infinity server. I'm having a pretty good time with it so far. I'm curious about the higher level content. It would rule to fight huge robots or monsters. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I think I'm level 8 now or so.
