That show with the game reviews (cant remember the freakin name) was great stuff. And the Screen Savers had good tips every so often.

Most of cable sucks. Sad to lose something good. Guess I can lose my remote now and ALWAYS keep it on ESPN News...

I used to get both channels. G4 is a videogame oriented channel. Atleast that's what it was when I had it. It recycled about 8 to 12 hours of programming on a loop. There were a few interesting shows, there was alot of filler though. The best show I saw on it was a kind of "behind the music" show that was about videogames. They had one show about Nolan Bushnell (atari mastermind), it was very interesting. This was all about a year ago however, it might be totally different now. I guess they will merge the techTV programming with the game oriented programming now.
It might actually be a decent channel. Hate to see techTV bite the dust though, I liked some of their programming as well.

After working for 3 years for comcast, I can personally say that they are a terrible company to work for. As crappy as it is for the staff of techTV to be laid off, they will probably find better employers than evilComcast.

G4 is entirely about video games, their biggest stint of the year is their complete coverage of E3. If you do get the channel they do a pretty decent job covering the show.
